Do you think it is a good idea to care about what people think about you? Do you always keep their thoughts and opinions in the back of your mind and let them affect your decisions and positions? Is that a huge factor in your life? Well, no matter what, we should love our horses and ourselves, and be proud of our decisions, and stand up for our beliefs and positions on certain things in life. Who cares what people think? Yes, you may have a 20 year old, slow quarter horse, and one of your close friends just got a brand new 6 year old, world champion horse, but what about that situation should affect you and your relationship with your horse? When you start to compare yourself to that person or other people, then you'll be depriving your hose of that affection because you'll be having second thoughts which can further change your attitude and make yourself depressed. Your horse can tell when you are acting different or in a certain way and their actions can be reflections of yours. Be yourself, and rock what you are !! Everyone is different and everyone has it different in their lives. So just be thankful for what you have and don't worry what anyone else thinks or what anyone else has. Be thankful for what you have...... not what you don't!!
