Finding a horse to buy requires patience..... a lot of patience! It took me almost 2 1/2 years for me to find my horse and he wasn't perfect or exactly what i wanted right when I got him. So then that took lots and lots of hard work and patience to get to where we are now. But there is a lot of different ways to find a horse for sale and that is right for you. There are a lot of websites such as www.horseclicks.com and www.equinenow.com. There are also websites that are particular to a certain discipline such as www.barrelhorseworld.com and www.ranchworldads.com. Another great way is jut to go on google and look up horses for sale in a certain area and just scroll through all of those websites. That is how I found my horse. Another good idea is to ask your farrier if they know any for sale because they take care of a lot of horses each week and will probably know some for sale and could help you out. One way that lots of people find horses for sale is on facebook. If you go on there and search for certain groups such as quarter horses for sale in California and join that group, then you you will probably have a really good chance of finding the one for you. One thing to keep in mind when finding a horse for sale is that the horse is not going to be perfect whatsoever and is not going to be exactly the horse you wanted in any way, shape, or form. You have to put the hard work into making them the way you want them to be You have to mentally prepare yourself so that you are not disappointed because it takes time to make them the perfect horse, but if you can find the a horse with the right bloodlines, attributes, attitude, and body make-up to do what you want to do then you can add the small things you need to make them exactly what you want!
"The horse you get off is not the same as the horse you got on. It is your job as a rider to ensure that as often as possible, the change is for the better.
